Coming soonFrequently asked questions
What scale is Mechromancer?
It is 1/1000 scale, therefore a human would be just under 2mm tall on the table.
Is Mechromancer miniature agnostic?
You can use any miniatures you want but the miniatures we produce will be the right sizes with modular weapons so will be perfect for playing. Added to this, people joining our Patreon and buying our STLs are the only way we can make money and continue.
What table size does Mechromancer use?
We suggest you use an A2 or ANSI C sheet of paper, 17 by 24 inches is what we are aiming for. You can play it on a suitably sized coffee table too.
Does Mechromancer use dice?
Yes, normal 6 sided dice (D6s).
Does Mechromancer use alternating activations?
Yes.
I don’t have a 3D printer, how can I play?
Rules are free, all you need are bases that are 2 inches (or 50mm if that is what you can get) in diameter. If miniatures are what you are after, over the coming months we will have times when we will sell physical miniatures, follow us for more info later.
Does Mechromancer have rules for playing Solo?
Not yet, but in the future almost certainly. We also would like to make an expansion to the main rules to make campaigns and a tabletop RPG that you can play with multiple friends. These are both long term goals.
How many factions are there?
In the end we would like to have 25 different factions. This will however take around 2 years to finish as we are releasing a new faction every month.
